This was my exact take. It's basically Panzer Corps on a global scale. I dont love the combat (particularly naval combat) or the Chinese overstrength factor that so many newer games use, but it's fun.

You have the entire force at your disposal sprinting all across the map, and you never allow them to not sprint. I suspect this explains why the condition for all your units is 0%, and why you shouldn't be surprised by their rapidly declining moral, and consequential routing.

Did you try clicking the mortar icon when you pick the vehicles? Maybe they have the machine gun selected as a primary weapon and try to attack with that.

The mortar crews said they were firing 'direct fire'. Maybe there is two fire options? Direct and in-direct. Thanks for the demo

Thanks for showing us the demo. It's really rough. Good example is how you couldn't get the mortars to fire. I stopped watching after that. You would think that devs would test demos before releasing them. ;)

I like how everyone showcasing this before demo release ignored the brief amd just jumped in 🤣🤣 showcasing how this game is good and needs proper tactics,. Not just throwing in units. Already loving this game.

Why is it a game that seems to center around Normandy add the Desert Rats to gameplay... but... doesn't seem to have added any North Africa maps? Am I missing something?

I'm new to the game and to me it makes sense to focus on masts/sails. The trouble is the return fire seems to be causing me more damage as I'm seeing quite a few misses on my ship's part trying to focus on taking a mast out or sails with chain shot. Reading some guides it's recommended to try and capture enemy ships to sell or add to your own fleet. I seem to get wrecked trying to board currently. The first mission definitely throws you in the deep end as far as learning goes lol with sailing, naval fighting, an enemy battery and troops, and handling your own amphibious assault. It's tricky keeping the wind in your favor, keeping your broadsides effective and not letting the enemy cross your T.

please could someone help me? I am a new player, and I don't know how to take the territory, I deploy my troops and tanks into the marked area but the area is not taken. Someone know what is necessary to take the enemy or neutral territories? thank you

So my critique of your deck is that you pick too many high-end aircraft and don't have enough depth. I would pick up F-15As for additional air dominance.

Fun game. Played many times. Black player wins 90% of time with following formula. Red player units unable to move first two turns if occupied by opposing forces due to command confusion. First move same as yours only ignore Kurst. If Red unit is destroyed move one Panzer on to Red Infantry on RR. Other two block RR to Orel. Air interdiction first six turns for Black player. I always put on Red Tank units, cavalry 2d. Center Panzer force attacks next. Usually get Red to retreat. Left flank Panzer force (main strike force) takes out Red unit & moves enmass onto Red unit to its right. The 2d center mechanized force attacks the much weakened retreated center Red units. Goal is encirclement. Red units on right should be encircled by T2 & Orel or Kurst threatened. Encirclement of Left flank Red by T5. Then destroy encircled Red units, open RR. Set up for knock out blow on T12 when Black player gets 3 more "free" attacks. To take Moscow. This when I play vs. computer. When in Hot Seat mode you play both sides. As Red player I form a line or front & hold out until T18 when the initiative changes, get 5 free attacks. many reinforcements, etc.. I'm from the old board game school, hexagons, dice towers. Avalon Hill games (that's how old I am) Panzer Leader, Squad Leader, 1776, Wooden Ships Iron Men, etc.. Also many Decision Games and many Napoleon-era stuff. Like to play solo strategy as opposed to group shooters format. Historical over Fantasy. Sorry, really rambling away here..Cheers

A question, I cant land the paratroopers same round as I fly them over, even if they are deployed as yours, meaning the forts and all can re-arm, have they updatet the paratroopers in 2021?
